Arthur's Garden Deli: A Flavorful Escape in Rock Island

Picked up some food here before work yesterday. The process was pretty simple, starting at the counter furthest from the door. I got a #2 as suggested by the attendant, and a small side of mac & cheese. The sandwich was absolutely delicious! Even though I wasn't able to eat it until a few hours later! Prices are great for the portions you get. There was the perfect amount of meat and toppings! Loved it! The staff was incredibly helpful for my first visit, as well!

Arthur's is great, a Rock Island institution! Everything is made fresh for the most part, it seems. Soup - sandwiches - salads. It is a good place for a meal that isn't just burgers and the usual fare. There is always a good selection of items. It is one of our go-to spots when visiting the area.

It's good. I've been dragging my feet about coming here because how good is one sandwich from another? It"s good, it's worth it, I promise you. Large selection of things besides sandwiches.

We LOVE this place. People are friendly and helpful. We eat here most every Thursday night. Mostly we order the same great meal…and it is really always great….there is one exception. One of the items we order we always ask for it to be warmed…the flavors are enhanced when warm. We make extra effort to make sure the “order taker” understood! Results: about 50% of the time it is warm….so there is 50% that is missing enhanced flavor. Order taker pays attention…maybe the breakdown is in the kitchen…???

I go here for lunch once in a while and these guys never disappoint! I typically get the chicken salad sandwich which always slaps. Then I get the pasta salad with the peppers in it…also slaps! The cool part about this place is that they have your food ready in minutes! It’s always fresh and delicious. The people are nice. The environment is good. Will certainly continue to go here!

Arthur’s Garden Deli in Rock Island has been a local staple for as long as I can remember. The quality of the food is just as good today as it was years ago—fresh ingredients, consistent flavor, and fair portion sizes. They’ve always taken care of their customers with great service and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a lower-carb option, try getting one of their sandwiches on a bed of lettuce instead of bread, it’s actually really good and still super filling. Just solid, reliable deli food that hits the spot every time. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been in a while.

I grew up in Sterling, Illinois and that's where the first Arthur's was and that was the most phenomenal thing that ever happened to us in. Sterling and I have lived in Florida for the last 40 years and I have missed it dearly. So of course now that I moved here, my son gave me the choice of Maid-Rite or ours of deli. So of course I chose Art's deli. I've already been to maid-rite once and so so oh yeah I can't wait to go back. The food is phenomenal and it always has been and it always will be and everybody there is so accommodating. I just love Arthur's garden deli to say the least and if you've never been there then you should go there because it's the best food place around here by far

I ate this sandwich like I was shaggy and scoob, absolutely delish. I also got the chicken dumpling soup, it could have used a little salt in my opinion but that was an easy fix. If I did not live 2 hours away I would be here all the time
